Overall social media use is also declining. Between 2020 and 2024, more Americans — especially the youngest (18–24) and oldest (65+) — report using no social media at all. A small group of heavy users remains, but the middle is thinning out.
Part-time musician (classical & early) here. Still significant info in this area on FB that isn’t easily available elsewhere. Are other niche communities using it? Could that be the future of FB? Maybe too small for Meta ofc; anybody else?

Facebook has started showing me post after post of car accidents
Maybe you know this. Facebook just drives me crazy anymore because it is always pushing the craziest right wing drivel to my feed. I have probably blocked 500 right wing garbage pages over the last few months, and it just keeps doing it. The irony is it probably drives engagement making me block.
Clear evidence of what we've known anecdotally for years. Puzzling how Meta still manages to post such growth in impressions and revenues when their audience has diminished so much.
Maybe people are working out it's shit?
