I also want to say that rereading what I just posted sounded snooty, and I didn't mean to come across like that. So I apologize for the tone, but I said what I said.
My original thing about access v ownership was mostly about having ownership seems pointless. You can "buy" your way in but it's mostly just swapping money around with each other.
I'm not going to argue about the technical points with you, but it all seems so pointless to me. I still don't understand what value it adds, how it makes people better off, what problems it can solve. It's like wiping your dirty hand with your clean one just so there will be something to do.
