Me looking fine as f-word in a cheap-ass Costco suit I'm cursed that every suit jacket is like half a size too small. Most stores sell a 48R as their biggest size. I'm probably like a 50T But when the suit is $110 who am I to say no
Photo of me the summer after high school. This photo was taken on our choir trip to Austria. My hair in the photo is two toned with lighter hair on top and darker hair on the sides. There is a perfectly straight line dividing the colors, too, so it's extra stark. I was lifeguarding that summer, so my hair had gotten sunbleached. Then right before the trip my mom said "I'm going to cut your hair before you leave". Despite doing it for years she never figured out how to make it look great (I had awful hair in high school, like BAD bad) and as a result, there is a stark line between the sides and the top, which is extra obvious because of the different colors. The context for the pic, if anyone cares, was that we had two separate buses because our choir was very large, and went to activities in separate groups so we didn't overwhelm them with too many people at the same time. Whenever they found out we were an American choir they'd always ask us to sing something. Our director was on the other bus so I was the one selected by my peers to be the "director when teacher wasn't there." The director of the choir we were singing with in Austria (it was for Haydn's deathiversary or something) was my high school choir director's college mentor (Jo-Michael Scheibe). After our performance with him in Votivkirche, he approached me and offered me a full ride scholarship, personally, to his school. I turned him down because I decided I liked money more than I wanted to direct choirs and I don't regret it. I woulda been REALLY good at it though, and I think he and my high school director both knew it.
