I want to clarify that -- the announcement that L2 will (eventually) be required for in store events was first announced at Pro Tour *New Jersey* (so... over four years ago). We've always promised the following since then: 1. When there is a timeline for this to become official we'll give *at least* six months notice 2. Before that happens we'll have clear pathways for judges who are not near other judges to get the recommendation they need. We have not started the clock. There isn't a timeline (yet). I will say we're closer to it now than we've ever been but before we get there we'd need more data about who is judging existing events to confirm that we have good coverage of L2s so communities don't get left out. When this future change becomes real we'll be shouting it from the rooftops.
