Bookbug Sessions. Free story, song and rhyme sessions for babies, toddlers, pre-school children and their families. Free drop in session. Outdoors during the summer. Every Saturday 9.30am-10.00am. Presented by Pittenweem Community Library in the Priory Garden on Cove Wynd.

The Neart na Gaoithe Community benefit fund Pittenweem supports community projects benefitting those living in the Royal Burgh of Pittenweem and District Community Council area. Groups may apply for grants of between £500-£1500 for projects/activities lasting up to one year or multi-year grants for up to 3 years. Deadline for applications 30 June 2026

Hosted by Pittenweem Community Library and Pittenweem Arts Festival. Donations Welcome. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop. Older children can stay unaccompanied, but must be brought and picked up by an adult.

If so, we invite you to East Poetics, a new initiative at Pittenweem Library dedicated to celebrating the vibrant, diverse, and boundless world of poetry. East Poetics is an inclusive space for adults, where all poetic forms are welcome. Whether your passion lies in the strict meter of a haiku, the powerful narrative of a slam, or a calm piece, the lyrical flow of a villanelle, or the untamed spirit of experimental poetry, we embrace it all. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and offer constructive support. We will host reading sessions, writing prompts, and casual discussions designed to help every member from novice to veteran grow their craft or project.
