Ah Guan knows there are meanings aimed at his head, but neither he nor the strangers wielding them know anything but that these meanings are meant to be aimed here, now, in this moment and all moments, that it is only natural, this contract of constructs, that the signifiers are loaded and it is the duty of the citizen, deputized at their documentation, to pull the trigger and annihilate him for any and all contradictions. What those contradictions are, neither party can say, but like pornography, they'll know it when they see it. Ah Guan knows that when he dies, it is certain that someone, somewhere down the line, will make money. He dreams his death, however it may come, will cost them. This seems unrealistic to Ah Guan, a fantasy. He hopes they will at least make a bad investment on it. Like at the track where red-faced, undulating masses of men bugle and froth over digitally hallucinated horses clipping thru each other to the finish line.
Reading a lot of monthly comics for work is really funny sometimes bc you’ll have a week where books like Bleeding Hearts and Nice House By The Sea come out and I can’t read any other floppies for at least a day after bc the perfectly fun adequate Content just doesn’t hit after reading real stories for grownups
