That 4.5x lift when branded links returned shows citation comes before the click. Getting into ChatGPT's citation pool is a content+schema problem: FAQPage markup, consistent entity mentions, llms.txt that tells crawlers what to summarize. The click is downstream; citation is the upstream work.
