I get believing that the left will always find an excuse not to back the Dem nominee, but I do think these examples (Mamdani, Platner, possibly El-Sayed) of Dems not truly believing "vote blue no matter who" could prove fatal in 2028.

I'm sure centrist Dems will insist there is a major moral distinction between Gaza and Platner's Nazi tattoos or Mamdani's socialism but it will just look like an obvious excuse.

That's a valid concern. I *was* a reliable Blue voter. Last election I held my nose and reluctantly voted for Slotkin and Harris. I'm not doing that again. bsky.app/profile/gema...
