As @nberlat.bsky.social has touched on, too many proposed Dem “reforms” wouldn’t address the problem with the current Supreme Court and try to impose rules that impact everyone rather than the specific bad actors. The problem isn’t that Sotomayor would have served 18 years by 2027.

Yes, it's a weak "solution" that tries 2B fair/nonpartisan with authoritarians Tthe larger strategic mistake is thinking 1 can set up "guardrails" to keep elected con artists from destroying the nation. But "guardrails" here aren't made of steel but of ppl enforcing laws. Con artists ignore laws.

I don’t mind term limits but that is a very separate issue from dealing with a rogue Court.
