Daniel Warshaw @ploafmaster.com 路 Oct 10 Crank snapped, I pitched over in an intersection. No blood, and Patient First shows no fractures in my ribs, but I have to take a few days (at least) off the bike 馃槙 Never buying (relatively) cheap cranks again.

Oh man! Jeez....glad no injuries.
These were Spa Cycles cranks from the UK. They did have probably 10k+ miles on them, but dang. Gonna have me inspecting my cranks all the time now for hairline cracks (assuming I would even see one close to failure).
