Things I keep in mind when drawing Yoshi MODERN YOSHI: - Nose goes way far out - Bottom of eye is visible - Nose protrudes far beyond little lip -Eyes go right up to the edge of "eyestalks" -Mouth does inward dimple -Little transition piece between eyestalk and cheek - Nose begins between eyes - Nose is pretty much a perfect circle - Noticeably more wide than tall CLASSIC / YOSHI'S ISLAND - Eyes are "separate" from the eyestalks and rounded -Bottom of eye is usually pushed up by cheek - Nose doesnt have to be an orb. You can even kinda squish it upward - No pronounced lip - Pupils usually "moon" shaped - Top of nose begins a little before the middle of front eye - No "middle" transition piece from cheek to eyestalk - Mario World 1 Yoshi is pretty similar, though MW1's jaw is HUGE and the nose kinda sags
