Some of us are trapped here. Red states especially feel designed to cage people in with low wages, expensive moving options, and exorbitant passport/post-resident fees. There's many trans women like myself trapped in places like Idaho that want to make displaying pronouns and pride flags associated with public indecency but can't leave because in this state, $17/hr is considered a high wage. We're trapped with many turning to GoFundMe or Charity because we genuinely have no other option. I'm not unconvinced I'm going to die here but still feel compelled to stay positive so the rest of my trans friends don't panic.
