Little Death Chapter 2 page. Callisto is holding Ellery, while Ellery is unconscious. They are in the throne room, and Callisto is seated on a brutalist obsidian throne with two spears of rock sticking out behind him. In back of the throne, rib cage-like features are carved into the wall, casting an eerie shadow. Ellery is swathed in a black cloak, originally worn by Callisto. Ellery fights an uphill battle of wanting to be seen as a man despite having a figure that suggests otherwise. Staying stealth is in his “best” interest, and the story takes the scariest avenues of exploring if that’s actually good for him, especially when the nightly hauntings get in the way of his performance as “one of the guys.”
