Six years ago this month, Chef the Rapper organised and led the Black Lives Matter march through Aberdeen city centre, the first protest on Union Street since the suffragettes. Close to 2,000 people turned out mid-pandemic, many uneasy about crowds, to stand together. Chef's work made it happen.
