The software assigns annual scores to institutions, departments, and researchers, based on the number and impact of publications, as well as the author’s position on each publication. This is done using a classification of journals based on their impact factor (IF) relative to other journals in the same or related disciplines. Each publication, regardless of its content, yields between 1 and 32 points depending on the calculation outcome, with each point valued at approximately 600 euros per year for four years.
