These three panels near the back of the #FreedomTruck really got my goat - "The Promise of Liberty", "Saving Principles" & "We Still Hold These Truths." I'm a Civil War & beyond historian; I just don't have the depth to see all the cracks in the Rev. War stuff. But here? This my bread and butter.

"...the Civil War was fought to preserve the Union and to end slavery." This #FreedomTruck panel (full text in alt) tries to make it seem like Abolitionists were dominant from 1789 to 1860?! And it concedes the Civil War was about slavery, too - a concession only made when convenient, apparently.
