“And I understand child care and so on and so forth…” Says a fucking nepo baby who got handed his family business and has just given himself a three month vacation from his other job of supposedly running Ontario.

Not surprising at all from him.

What an arrogant ass.

and guess who agrees with him (and his mother)? our public broadcaster, CBC. they told me the same thing—in prettier language, of course bsky.app/profile/stai...

How about build back better. We know that the return to office is about control, and the economy as it pertains to the business real estate market. Work/life balance provides so many benefits to family, the environment and mental and physical health. Capitalism doesn't value these.

Remote work is work. This is back to office. Filling the pockets of those who own office buildings. Ensuring that we consume more gas due to commutes. It's not about productivity. This is not about getting work done. It's about greed. Demand better. Repurpose buildings. Keep working at home.

An absolute ignoramus and embarrassment to the province.

Can't wait for these fucking dinosaurs to finally become extinct. Society has quite a bit of work to do and at this rate seems pretty clear that it won't be possible to move forward until an entire generation of politicians is busy generating more of their oh so precious fossil fuels.

It’s an openly cynical attempt to get people to quit

Meanwhile, he fucks off to his cottage for like 3 MONTHS (closing govt until March) The nerve of this asshole.

Dean The Savage · Feb 5

He's up at his Muskoka cottage more than in office and has the nerve to say that to a constituent that has concerns about childcare and other things when being forced back to office from remote work! What a freaking clown. I'll never understand why working class people think Ford is for them

Anik 🇨🇦🐸 · Feb 5

Can we tell DoFO if he doesn't work more then 5 jours a day and 10 months a year he can resign????

Philip Hitchings · Feb 6

"Back to work" is such a duplicitous way to frame this. Not "back to the office". "Back to work". The intentional use of that phrase to anchor the idea that people are being lazy and dishonest if they want to work remotely is so smarmy in its deliberateness.

Says Premier Lazybones

@mellowcanuck.bsky.social · Feb 5

What a fuck face.

José Machismo 🇨🇦🇪🇸🤘 · Feb 5

He probably recorded that while sitting on the shitter at his cottage. On a Tuesday afternoon.

Wes Allen · Feb 5

It’s insane that he’s calling provincial employees to personally insult them.

A Reddy · Feb 5

He obviously doesn't realize that government employees HAVE been back to work... actually, never missed a beat through the whole pandemic. This is about returning to the office 5 days a week...not returning to work. And that coming from a guy who only had the legislature sit 51 days last year...

A Reddy · Feb 5

Always Doug the Thug. "Nice place you got there...shame if anything happened to it" kind of vibe...

SueB · Feb 5

Lemme guess - leaked by Doug’s office?

Tempa · Feb 5

How much is this costing the Ontario tax payers to send everyone back to the office every day? Has anyone done the math?
