October '25. Creeping with the Clubs: Pride Alliance is partnering with other COD clubs to have our own Student Life Fair! Come down to room SRC 2000 for free popcorn and treats to learn about over a dozen of the clubs right here on campus! The boxes below feature a purple and orange poster with candy and Jack-O-Lanterns, including the information of where the meeting takes place, in room SRC 2000 on October 27th, 12-2:30 pm.

Culver’s Fundraiser & T-Shirt Tote Bags: On July 14th, Pride Alliance organized a club activity of upcycling old Pride Alliance t-shirts into some homemade tote bags! On that same day, Pride Alliance partnered with the Culver’s in Wheaton, from 5-8 pm, to fundraise money for the club! Many officers and club members showed up, resulting in a successful fundraiser! The boxes below depict a Culver's table full of a variety of orders curtsy of our Officer team, with special appearance from Glorbo Gleebus! The picture next to that shows one of our club members in a state of distress trying to accomplish the creation of a t-shirt tote bag. Fun Fact!: August 8th is National Sneak Some Zucchini Onto Your Neighbor’s Porch Day! Who knew, right? Extra, Extra!: If you’re not prepared for the upcoming fall semester, join us August 11th for a Prep Day during club, 4-5:30!!

Pride Month: Many members of Pride Alliance met up and attended the Chicago Pride Parade! Mildly temperate weather was disrupted by a cooling sprinkle. Governor J.B. Pritzker was also spotted walking in the parade, pictured below. The boxes below have three pictures from the Chicago Pride parade, one with large balloons spelling 'Chicago' in a rainbow, another spelling 'Pride' and a third candid photo of Governor J.B. Pritzker walking in the parade.

Pride Month: Happy Pride month! This month, we celebrate our Queer brothers and sisters who paved the way for us to celebrate freely today. Pride Month commemorates the Stonewall Riots of 1969 in New York City, a pivotal moment in the Gay Rights Movement. The riots were sparked by a police raid on the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar. The box below has a picture of the Chicago Pride parade, with large balloons spelling 'Chicago' in a rainbow. Chicago Pride Parade: For the past several years, Pride Alliance has attended the Chicago Pride Parade as a group. We take the Metra train to Chicago Union Station, then ride the CTA bus to the start of the parade. Chicago Pride is June 29th, beginning at 11 am. It starts at 3900 N Broadway, Chicago, IL.

Gayla 2025: Gayla 2025 had a stellar turnout with over 60 attendees! With overwhelming positive feedback, we're so excited to return for next year! Thank you to the Pride Officers and the Gayla Committee for making this happen! Tune in next year for another awesome Gayla! Feed My Starving Children: On February 24th, Pride Alliance once again partnered with the Endowment for Future Generations club to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children! We helped pack food boxes to be shipped out to those in need. The next box has a picture of multiple club members helping pack food at Feed My Starving Children. Virtual Meeting: With unfortunate and chilly weather, Pride Alliance held their first virtual meeting of the semester through Discord on February 12th. Bake Sale: Pride Alliance continues to hold bake sales outside of the SRC cafeteria to fundraise for Gayla, our second chance prom! Stop by for cookies and hot chocolate! The final box has a picture of one of Pride Alliance's bake sales. A green tablecloth covers a long table with various goods on top that are being sold.
