It's starting to look like people actually *live* here.

That time you kicked a machine on your spaceship to fix it, and lo and behold, it worked! Cryopods to coffee to mission briefing, banter... Greenscreen monitors. Big chunky keyboards. Grates, pipes, and greebles. Beer and smokes, and sidelong, exasperated or mocking glances at the suit. You fell in love like that like I did, didn't you? Of course you did. Otherwise you wouldn't be here. In the depths of space in your mind, sitting in a leather seat that's seen much better days. Wondering what's going to break today, and whether you've got the parts, or have to strip the coffee machine. Again. And then the alarms blare. Or the monitor beeps and whirrs and clicks as something comes up on your scanner. Or that fatass who smells of expensive perfume and hair oil steps into the cabin with a whoosh, to tell you it's time. Just another day. And maybe a paycheck a few years down the line. Maybe."
