Frankly I think some areas of the country put too much attention on getting sporting events in their cities. If the taxpayers are footing the bill, such as the World Cup, or new stadiums for sports teams, there is a good chance that it will be a monetary loser for said city.

What I find sad is that I’m scared to post anything negative about the current administration in case I need to visit the US in the next couple of years and my ESTA gets revoked because of it.

The new visa rules are preventing the family of players (and fans) from attending due to high costs by recent executive order penalizing 32 countries. A bad look, all around.
