Nimda remembered those words precisely. She wasn't quite sure exactly what it would eventually mean for her, being this early in her time of adventure, unsure of the world and its dangerous surroundings, but a supposedly reckless Chocobo that dashed into the enemy without much thought, unable to call back? Breaking out of stables left and right, coming back safe and soundly the next day as if nothing had happened. How could she say no to that, exactly needing a companion like that who knew what they were about?

And the description wasn't all that right, but still, wrong. Wrong, wrong.

Recklessness turned to protection at all costs, able to call upon it wherever she was in need. He was ephemeral, came and went when he wanted. Where he went she didn't know either, but the whistle got heard across the star regardless, should she actually use it.
