I am not sure that it's even possible to scam people dumb enough to want a phone with a politician's name on it. That is some peasant-level groveling there.
I thought these people were scammed by the sons of Donald Trump, just like in all other grift & bribery projects where money is moved to his family members - I expect for not being guilty of enriching himself as POTUS.
I heard he plans to send them all a personally signed cheque (check) knowing none of them will bank it, they will all frame it.
I am so happy for them.
