A “tank” built on a caterpillar tractor body during World War Two to defend New Zealand. Designed by activist and politician Bob Semple. The tank is covered in sheets of corrugated iron and has guns sticking out around it. It was heavy, unwieldy and had to stop to change gear. Never saw active service, unbelievably.
