Certain people are desperate to narrow down the idea of what a kinkster "should" be in a desperate attempt to take communities back to a time that no longer exists. Quite frankly, they sound like right wing Christians who cherry pick certain Bible passages to enforce their beliefs onto everyone else.

The worst thing is that some will happily ignore bigoted abuse, sexual assault, paedophilia and fascism within their groups solely because they believe they have a chance of getting their leg over, while trying to push women, trans, non-binary, black and disabled people out for either calling them out on their enabling behaviour, or because they have the nerve to "invade" kink spaces.

And yes, I do believe that some of the criticism of Honey Davenport being voted International Mr Leather is rooted in racism, not just because they're a drag queen.

As a proud disabled queer kinkster, I reject the notion that kink communities, regardless of what you're in to, should be an exclusive boys club.
Everyone is different, all of us have our own perspectives, and all of us should be encouraged to share our experiences to make our communities the best they can be.

Don't agree? Well, I've been told what I should and shouldn't do up until I turned 16. I barged my way into a mainstream college, I barged my way into the pup, leather and ABDL communities. And I will continue to take up space whether the puritans like it or not
