This is a photo from our Pentecost service a couple years back. it shows Lisa, the lead pastor, preaching under a rainbow of paper origami swans while she's standing with her arms open wide. I both love the visual of one of our main sayings, which is Open to All and appreciate the timing of the photo, which is Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit comes and empowers people to do the work of God well in the world. And I think that centering humans helps make sure that we leave room for the work of the Holy Spirit in our work as a church.

A game of Flamme Rouge in progress. We started on the incorrect side of the track card. We're playing on a 5 to 6 player track which I think actually did impact the race a bit.

Men still make up 2/3 of developers. However that number was 75% in 2020. Meaning we've seen a nine-point change over the past 5 years. Lgbtq representation among developers has also increased, with 1/4 of respondents identifying as lgbtq+ up 20 up from 21% in 2024. Nearly half (43%) of 18 to 14 year old developers identify as lgbtq+ and women developers are almost four times more likely than men to do so."

The Peppermint strain that I have is chocolate Peppermint, which is a nice softer (not as harsh) flavor of mint.
