PVD CORE is a caucus of members in the Providence Teachers Union (PTU) that is trying to build power by organizing other members within the union and by strengthening coalitions with local organizations.

Of note, in December CORE members advocated for increased teacher and student voice in the return of PPSD to local control by attending community conversations with OurSchools PVD and the Mayor's Office.
