HR retiree/practitioner for the state of Georgia. I spend way too much time on analytics - Excel is a close friend of mine. Follow along if you're curious. Note that I'm not a fan of DMs, so please don't be offended if I ignore yours.

This is a map of the thirteen original colonies from a television commercial for a company hawking vandalized two dollar bills. The map is so full of errors, though. Starting at the top of the map, these are the ones I found: 1. New Hampshire extends into present-day Maine (Maine was part of Massachusetts). 2. Present-day Vermont is part of Massachusetts (it was part of New York). 3. Lake Ontario has become Lake Erie. Lake Erie is not labelled. 4. Rhode Island includes Connecticut and Cape Cod. 5. Long Island is shaded the same color as Delaware. 6. New Jersey extends east, almost to the eastern tip of Long Island. 7. Delaware extends into Maryland. 8. Maryland possesses the whole of the Delmarva Peninsula. And a new island has emerged in Chesapeake Bay. 9. Maryland no longer shares a border with Virginia. In this map, there's a "no man's land" between the two states. 10. South Carolina is divided in nothern and southern halves, and the southern half is labelled Georgia. 11. The real Georgia location is just part of the unlabelled western lands.

A screenshot of Google search results when I searched for "FLSA Highly Compensated Employee 2025." The AI summary says the annual salary threshold is $151,164, which is incorrect. A US district judge in Texas stopped that in 2024. The US Department of Labor returned to their prior annual threshold, or $107,432.
