She bought it from a photographer cousin. She loved photography; this might be the first she bought for herself. I remember how it sounds so well. Miss you, Mom.

I can totally sympathize with that. Recently I got my father’s camera and the sound of the shutter brings back so many memories. Funny how the mind remembers things.
Enjoy that! My dad was always the photographer anywhere he went. After he passed and my brother and I packed up the house, I had hoped to find his old 35mm film camera he used from the 70s until the 90s, but we think he eBayed it shortly before he passed. 😢
