Cox is the first transgender person in the history of the Emmys to be nominated in any acting category. She later became the first trans woman to win a Davtime Emmy Award for her role as an executive producer. J Mase Ill is a queer and trans educator. His work focuses on teaching communities about the needs of LGBT+ individuals in places including faith communities, K-12 schools, and universities. He is a poet, performer and author of two books. Mase Ill is the founder of AwQward Talent, a trans and QPOC specific talent agency. Having modeled for companies like ASOS, Paper Magazine and H&M, Aaron Philip is a visible gender non-conforming trans woman. She is also one of very few visibly disabled people in the fashion industry where she is at the forefront of challenging preconceptions about disabled people doing high fashion. Studying sociology and equity inspired Luca Rosenberg-Lee to showcase and discuss social issues through film. He co-produced and co-directed the documentary "Passing" which details the experiences of three trans men of color as they navigate the process of transition. Samson Bokeabantu Brown is a director, stage manager, playwright and production manager who was recently spotlighted in a commercial for Gillette that shows his father guiding him through the experience of shaving for the first time. The ad went viral and proves that visibility and acceptance in communities of color is possible.

In 1980, while on a photo-shoot, her transgender status was disclosed without her permission thereby ending her modelling career. She has since been active in the drag ball community and was inducted into the ballroom hall of fame. Kylar William Broadus is an American attorney, entrepreneur, and trans rights activist. He founded the Trans People of Color Coalition in 2010. He became the first trans person to testify in front of the United States Senate when he spoke in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. He was professor of business law at Lincoln University, a historically black college. CeCe McDonald came to national attention in June 2012 after being convicted for manslaughter after protecting herself from a transphobic attacker. Although a woman, she was housed in men's prisons. An online petition led to the State providing the hormones she needed. In 2014 she was awarded the Bayard Rustin Civil Rights Award by the Harvey Milk LGBT Democratic Club. Angelica Ross is an American businesswoman, actress, and trans rights advocate. A self-taught coder, she went on to become founder and CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises, a firm that helps employ transgender people in the tech industry. Ross began her acting career in the web series Her Story and has received acclaim for her roles in Pose and American Horror Story. Kye Allums is a former college basketball player for the George Washington University women's team who in 2010 came out as a trans man, becoming the first openly transgender NCAA Division I college athlete. Today, Kye is a transgender advocate and the founder of Project I Am Enough, a project dedicated to encouraging self-love & self-definition for everyone.

SPARTA Pride, Community of Transgender Americans Serving In The Military, Issues Statement WASHINGTON, DC - SPARTA Pride has released the following statement in response to the President’s Executive Order concerning transgender military service: Transgender Americans have served openly and honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces for nearly a decade. Thousands of transgender troops are currently serving, and are fully qualified for the positions in which they serve. Transgender service members currently fill critical roles in combat arms, aviation, nuclear engineering, law enforcement, and military intelligence, many requiring years of specialized training and expertise. Transgender troops have deployed to combat zones, served in high- stakes missions, and demonstrated their ability to strengthen unit cohesion and morale. While some transgender troops do have surgery, the recovery time and cost is minimal, and is scheduled so as not to impact deployments or mission readiness (all of which is similar to a non-emergent minor knee surgery). The readiness and physical capabilities of transgender service members is not different from that of other service members. SPARTA Pride is standing by to support all transgender service members impacted by this policy.
