More Dad, 2013. Mom tells me that Dad told her he met a guy at ISU named Homer and he wanted drum lessons. Not a "Black guy" and not a "tall guy." So, when Homer came over, Mom goes to open the door and there's a 6'10" Black Homer at the door—in Pocatello, Idaho—she was a bit caught off guard. 😅
