Unfortunately I can't take any statements from the FBI at face value (and it feels like if this investigation truly did begin during the Biden administration then they'd disclose a little bit more than that)

if it makes any difference I think Leonnig said on Hayes’ show last night that the investigation (into bribes) had started in 2024 under Biden
