⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING: POLICE PRESENCE ⚠️ Out of care for our community, we want to share that uniformed police officers will be present at this year’s Tacoma Pride® event at Wright Park. Due to high-profile guests, including public officials, we coordinated with the Tacoma Police Department to ensure public safety. We know that police presence can feel unsafe or triggering, especially for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ folks, and others impacted by state violence. Please take care in whatever ways feel right for you. On-site support, including: - Community Peacekeepers - De-escalation specialists - Volunteer-based security -Medics Thank you for showing up for each other. We see you.
