On the left side (surrounded by a pale ochre background) is a tall figure with a green face looking towards us and a profile looking to the left- along the bottom and to the right corner is a colourful carpet in reds and greens-in the centre in the middle distance is a woman at a table - she is smoking a cigarette and looking towards us- on her right is a large tree with red leaves in front of the tree is a net and behind the net a white squirrel -along the top of the picture is a line of trees - perhaps this scene is set in a park-
In pale water colours on paper -on the right a girl on a chestnut horse-we see the back of her (wearing a big yellow hat) riding away (towards the top right). In the upper area towards the left side is the outline of a one room cabin -the walls are transparent & you can see an old cowboy inside the cabin -he is sitting on a stool & in front of him is a red dog -the cowboy is talking to and stroking the dog -outside the cabin at the back is a line of pink mountains -in front of the cabin are three tall trees -all round the cabin the ground is covered in soft moss coloured grass -
Orange fills all the background -On the left side the head and shoulders of a girl in profile looking to the left -she is holding a cat- on the top right side the shape of a house with two large heads inside -in the front of a house are two arms the hands are held together.
Painted and drawn in pale yellow paint with a little pale blush red and some pencil lines- a view of a room -probably a large kitchen on the right is a table with a chair on the wall behind are shelves full of jars (perhaps full of marmalade and bottled fruits) there is a large window through which golden light is streaming - in front of the window is a small wire framed bed -hovering over the bed is the figure of a sleeping woman -there is a cat and four chickens on the floor -and a figure watching from a doorway …
At the top a long ominous dark bomb flying somewhere- in the middle a long figure lying down and out of it there are 5 trees growing - along the bottom in hand written letters in blue and red are the words ‘Grow trees not bombs - Cease Fire’
At the top of this picture is a huge dark bomb floating or hovering …filling the rest of the sky are red bombs on their way somewhere - in the middle is a figure of a person shaped into a tree -this tree person is looking up at the big dark bomb- at the bottom of the picture there is a green grassy patch (the figure tree is growing out of it) across the grass in hand written text are the words ‘Be a tree not a bomb -cease fire’
On tge left edge a blue background- then a female figure with pink hair and wearing a yellow shawl—in the center against a red background a tale dark male figure - on the right side a small dark running figure with a cloud of small heads hovering over her -you decide ….
In greens at the bottom three people -heads and shoulders -they look a bit like trees and they are looking up to the sky-in the middle ground is a line of golden ochre coloured hills and above the hills is blue sky with a long dark blue cloud -in front of the sky above the people/trees looking up is the outline of an unidentified flying object and perhaps having emerged from that space craft is a white flying creature -perhaps related to a horse or a dog maybe -you decide
On the left side of the picture is a very large dusty black cat sitting outside a house -the house is about the same hight as the cat -so either the cat is enormous or the house is tiny (you decide) Inside the house is a woman sitting on a chair -her head tilted down as though she’s thinking or dreaming or remembering -on the wall of the house is a small picture of an Alpine mountain -on the right of the picture and at the right side of the house is a tall bearded man standing still & watching the woman - you decide what’s going on …
On the left a dark powder blue creature (perhaps a cat) standing upright, in front of this creature is a yellow cat also standing upright and perhaps kissing the forehead of a person -portrayed as a large red head with blue features - so overall the picture is divided into three - dark powder blue on the left yellow in the middle and red from the Center of the picture to the right side -heavens I’m getting worse at this descriptive text -apologies to anyone that’s reading
In blues, dark moss greens, oranges and white- on the top left a ferocious blue cloud roaring -on the top right in red and orange, the sun and sky -on the bottom outlined in white against the dark moss green, a figure of a woman (representing the earth) clutching the feet of a frightened running man- earth is there to protect & comfort the frightened running man from the terrible roaring storm -
In black ink line drawing -a series of 1/2 people 1/2 tree walking - these are Woanderers (thinking is expanded through movement so wonder & wander are as one) performing Reciprocal geography (see text above) cherishing our environment.
In reds yellows and blues -on the left side a figure hands on hips -defiant perhaps -on the right side a bear leaning back slightly as though stopped in its tracks - a face off maybe -or a surprise encounter -you decide
In yellow red blue pink and green - a sort of swirly mix -in the middle background a rounded hillside (perhaps). In the middle horizontally almost as wide as the picture -a long blue figure swimming across a golden field -in the bottom a powder blue stream (perhaps) you decide
Divided into two areas - on the left a dark blue and brown face - in profile and also facing straight ahead —a red area by the shoulder-on the right side at the top a green seated figure wearing a Venetian type mask with a long pointed nose- on the right side at the bottom are two white cats one is sleeping the other looking at the Green seated man-
On paper -so white surface showing through -two large heads in orange and pale mossy green /blue perhaps they are railing or arguing with each other -along the bottom of the picture are 8 small heads and shoulders -perhaps these are ordinary folk trying to get on with their lives - you decide ….
In ochres oranges greens blues a bit of white & some pink - a sort of swirl of figures & landscape- top left at a distance a young boy (perhaps) readies himself to dip a toe into the water (of a small lake in front of him). On the other side of the lake at the bottom left front -there are 3 strange figures (creatures of sorts) dancing on the snow. In the middle bottom a head & shoulders with 4 eyes & a pink boot on its shoulder. In the middle above the 4 eyes head, is another head looking in two directions at the same time, above that is a strange looking horse (of sorts). To the right of the horse at the top right of the picture is a small transparent green house shaped structure (with two figures inside), below are trees that run down the right side of the picture -there is light shining through some of the tree trunks -& a house can be seen half way down - on one side the house is surrounded by trees on the other there are golden meadows - you decide ….
In blues reds ochres and missy green -a jumble of figures -on the left a surprised pink cow sitting upright-behind the cow a figure falling -in the foreground an olive green face (head and shoulders) wearing a hat -behind another head and shoulders with a long arm its hand in the face of another figure -then together in tge background a large orange face pressed close to a large pink face & leaning on the pink face is a small dark blue figure -overall it is a muddle and a jumble …..you decide …
In deep ochres pink blue yellow darkest green and muddy olive - on the left side a large head looking (wistfully?) out to the left of the frame-in the middle possibly her tangled dark hair- to the right at a little distance a kneeling girl wearing orange and pink, with yellow legs - the title (where does the time go) references the 1966/7 song by Sandy Denny (in the British group Fairport Convention) ‘Who knows where the time goes’
In orange ochre green and black -on the left side at the back a pale blue horse standing on a green grassy mound- on the right in the foreground - a yellow figure with an enormous head and big black eyes gazing at the horse - love or wonder perhaps -you decide …
In greens orange red and blue (I’m not very happy about this colour mix -I don’t think it works well) on the left side a giant with red legs blue hands and a pale face -it is holding a car (there are two people inside the car) and the giants back is a big blue flying insect. In front of the giant and on top of the trees is the outline of a house all lit up in yellow light -inside the house two people are dancing, their dog is sitting by the corner watching them. On the top right of the picture is a red sun looking in at the dancing couple. You decide …!
