Every week I get a little poorer and a bit more depressed. Paul they didn't grow up when we did. People used to own multiple cars and houses and most guys I knew had a boat also. Working people could afford to live good. This is not the America we enjoyed. The Rich have taken every dime.

There's never been a doubt that they were lying simply because I shop and EVERYTHING IS MORE EXPENSIVE! Yes I was yelling.
I went grocery shopping on Saturday. Bought my usual list, with one exception, not much meat; a bag of Chicken Breasts, 1 pkg of store brand Bacon, 1 bag of Shrimp, but did include a box of Taquitos and 8 French Bread Pizzas for 17. Bill was $160 HIGHER than last month which incl HB meat and Chops.

The feds say there is only 3.5% inflation. So why does one bag of the most basic groceries cost $100? You know, milk, bread, eggs, meat, veggies. The cost of buying food now seems utterly insane.
Maybe not in next month's numbers, but a few down the road, the past numbers will be adjusted up. The administration is reporting lowball numbers knowing that people pay more attention to the present numbers and not the numbers from few months ago that are adjusted up.

Prices have been bad for a while now. Companies are also making everything smaller and dont think ppl notice. Prices keep going up. Then, the whole rebranding costs a lot and then passes along to the customer with smaller and fewer.

Usually this nonsense about inflation being low is buried in some cherry picked list of items that have gone down, but I can’t think of anything beyond eggs that went down after the bird flu crisis.

Go buy a pound of sausage. The bag now is 14 oz, not 16. Go buy a 16 oz can of evaporated milk. You get 12 oz. Smaller amounts, higher prices. Maybe that's how the GOP's Trumptatorship will fight the obesity epidemic. OF COURSE that only helps slim the not rich.
All I have to do is look at how much I’m spending per week on fresh produce or meat. Trump couldn’t care less about prices as long as his rich friends are raking in the cash from his war of distraction.

You’ve heard of Restaurant Depot. I went yesterday. No bargains there and a price was wrong. SAMS nada. And overcharged me $21.95. Added tax on a discount. (Lady could not do the math). That’s a NO. COSTCO $29.99 For 2 rolls of foil. That’s a no. We don’t have tax on food either. I blame JBS too.
