The welcome bags include a report commissioned by Mr. Trump during his first term that downplays the role of slavery in the country’s founding, and a children’s book accusing South Africa’s government of “favoring the Black population.”
This Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we celebrate the resilience, devotion, and patriotism of Americans whose heritage spans the Pacific and whose tremendous contributions have helped build the greatest Nation the world has ever known. Throughout our Nation’s 250 glorious years of freedom and independence, countless Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have made tremendous contributions to our national story. From the more than 77,000 brave service members defending our freedoms in the Armed Forces and the countless small business owners fueling our economy to the talented doctors who are making our country healthy again and the technological innovators driving our industries into the future, Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have strengthened every facet of American life. The values that my Administration is fighting for are the same values the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities live by every day—family, hard work, education, and the promise of freedom. Since I returned to office, my Administration has advanced those values by lowering the cost of living and delivering historic tax relief for working families and small business owners through the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. We are stopping violent crime and making our neighborhoods safe again for our children. We are restoring excellence in education by empowering parents and advancing merit. And we are forging powerful trade deals with our Asian and Pacific partners, which are expanding our access to key markets, strengthening supply chains, and securing better opportunities for American workers of every background. Other leaders visiting the White House have sought to dodge questions about Trump’s controversial ideas while sitting alongside the U.S. president. They have rather focused on flattering Trump. Leaders have rarely rebuffed Trump to his face in this second term. And here you have Prime Minister Mark Carney clearly saying that Trump’s aspiration for taking control of Canada is a nonstarter. “It’s not for sale. It won’t be for sale, ever,” Carney said. Trump’s response was also notable. Rather than interrupt or debate Carney, he simply listened and nodded his head before later saying, “Never say never.”"

From Wikipedia: Austin comedy performance and Asian stereotypes During a stand-up set in May 2021, Hinchcliffe was videotaped insulting Peng Dang, an Asian American comedian who had introduced Hinchcliffe after performing the previous set at Vulcan Gas Company in Austin. Hinchcliffe said Dang was a "filthy little fucking chink", followed with a series of Asian stereotypes in a mock Chinese accent, and lashed out at audience members who laughed at Dang's jokes, branding them as "race traitors". The video was later shown on Twitter, went viral and received criticism.[25] As a result, Hinchcliffe was dropped by his agency WME and removed from shows scheduled with Joe Rogan in Austin, and the Austin nightclub Antone's announced that it would no longer be involved with Hinchcliffe or his Kill Tony live show.[25][26][27] Vulture reported that during his set, Hinchcliffe stated that Chinese people came to Austin because of the bats and criticized offended audience members for "believing he was serious".[31] Dang stated he did not receive any apology from Hinchcliffe following the incident.[31] In an interview with Variety, Hinchcliffe stated that the line was a joke and he did nothing wrong, adding that he believed comedians should never apologize for a joke and simply continue with their work, which was the approach he took after the incident. Variety also reported that in an October 2023 episode of the podcast Triggernometry, Hinchcliffe claimed that Dang was a "Chinese spy" and the incident was an "an orchestrated attack by the Chinese media". In response to these claims, Dang questioned the logic behind a country sending a spy to pose as a stand-up comedian and shared that he continued to receive racist and hateful messages from Hinchcliffe's fans since the incident.[32]

(1) Extreme nationalism, the belief that there is a clearly defined nation which has its own distinctive characteristics, culture, and interests, and which is superior to others. (2) An assertion of national decline—that at some point in the mythical past the nation was great, with harmonious social and political relationships, and dominant over others, and that subsequently it has disintegrated, become internally fractious and divided, and subordinate to lesser nations. (3) This process of national decline is often linked to a diminution of the racial purity of the nation. In some movements the nation is regarded as co‐extensive with the race (the nation race), while in others, hierarchies of races are defined generically with nations located within them (the race nation); in virtually all cases, the view is taken that the introduction of impurities has weakened the nation and been responsible for its plight. (4) The blame for national decline and/or racial miscegenation is laid at the door of a conspiracy on the part of other nations/races seen as competing in a desperate struggle for dominance. (5) In that struggle, both capitalism and its political form, liberal democracy, are seen as mere divisive devices designed to fragment the nation and subordinate it further in the world order. With regard to prescriptive content, the first priority is the reconstitution of the nation as an entity by restoring its purity. The second is to restore national dominance by reorganizing the polity, the economy, and society. Means to this end include variously: (1) the institution of an authoritarian and antiliberal state dominated by a single party; (2) total control by the latter over political aggregation, communication, and socialization; (3) direction by the state of labour and consumption to create a productionist and self‐sufficient economy; and (4) a charismatic leader embodying the ‘real’ interests…
"A right‐wing nationalist ideology or movement with a totalitarian and hierarchical structure that is fundamentally opposed to democracy and liberalism. In ancient Rome, the authority of the state was symbolized by the fasces, a bundle of rods bound together (signifying popular unity) with a protruding axe‐head (denoting leadership).
