On this page, Metal Sonic discovers that when he touches the Metal Virus with his finger, the virus just falls off of him harmlessly instead of infecting him. Since Metal Sonic previously saw that the real Sonic was able to be infected by the Metal Virus, Metal Sonic realizes that he is just a robotic imitation who cannot do everything that the real Sonic can do. This means that Metal Sonic will never be able to replace or exceed Sonic, and that the expectations that have guided Metal Sonic’s actions up to this point have been unachievable. As his worldview is shattered, Metal Sonic stares at his hand in shock.

Unfortunately, the audio track keeps setting itself back to the Auto-Dub and eventually the user gives up.
