Red Help ATX Who are we? • Red Help ATX is a diverse coalition of Marxist Leninists in and around Austin, Texas. • Like a phoenix, we rose from the ashes of the former Austin CPUSA chapter, and established our organization in July 2024. What do we do? • The bulk of our work is direct mutual aid supporting the Austin homeless community. • Our five year plan includes operating a free food truck to serve hungry people in our city. • We read and discuss Marxist and liberation theory in closed and open sessions. • We picket with local unions and support their strike actions. • We create propaganda, and engage in agitation and direct action. Why do we do it? • Red Help ATX comrades believe that a revolution that feeds the people, will free the people. • We understand that organizing with marginalized communities, and those under extra oppression by the state is the key to building solidarity and dual power. • We work to grow class consciousness with community support: helping our neighbors, educating our friends, and organizing the masses. • We aim to feed the hungry and fill the gaps in the revolutionary education of the masses.
