The first ever USB C power supply for the original Xbox is now OPEN SOURCE. 121 revision Xboxes are currently supported, 009 and 012 will come the next few days. It is licensed under TAPR , you may make, and sell it as long as you leave my name on the PCB, and share changes.

Thank you for doing this. Any recommendation on watts and amps for a USB-C power supply? The selection is vast.

Good on you! Open source hardware and tooling is more important every day. Speaking of tooling, good job using Kicad.

Thank you!!! It's already hard enough to preserve and play old games. I can't afford to collect anymore, but seriously - thank you for making this open source. Games deserve to be played, and this will help people play them :)

Are you removing the onboard PSU which took a C7 connector, and replacing it with one that takes a USB C?

Super keen. Would love to buy. I have a 1.6 XBOX so no idea if it's compatible....

I could do with having one for my Acorn RISC PC.

The brick on my one died along time ago and you can not get one made by Microsoft. My 3rd part mfg makes so much noise that I don’t use it. Love this!

someone should sample the startup noise

also this is 1000% perfect for a rebuild project I shall be doing with an eye towards building a highly non-standard OG Xbox, so slimming down the PSU so much is ideal for this purpose, for sure.
