the cease and desist orders that came as a result of this comic were the stuff of legend
I was at an Alan Moore book reading in London in 2007 and he cited this very strip as the reason he was disgusted with comics as a medium. Everyone was really confused but I gave him a knowing nod which i think he appreciated
