I was a kid, playing with the green tube "magic eye" you could use to tune in correctly to a station, when I heard Hendrix. I was sold immediately. Later I saw on TV what instrument caused that amazing sound: an electric guitar!

I still own and maintain that radio, but there are no stations anymore on AM in my country. I will build a small transmitter and play sixties/seventies music to make it work again. (I could use the input for the record player, but that's not the same)
