Which model are you using with Pi? I was using it with GPT5.5 and it just doesn't use the built-in edit tools sometimes which is quite frustrating.
have you tried the new opencode beta? apparently it give you access to the subagents
crow-cli make pi agent look like bloatware. 6500 LOC of python and that's it. Extremely minimal.
