Glimpse of the Infinite 👁️🗡️ It’s looking for you, you know. It has been since the beginning, hoping to catch your eye. How can I break through when the world is this loud? Does it occupy your mind? Is this, here, appealing? I want to show you what this could all be, one day, if the sun still shines long enough to let it grow. Are you as scared as I am? I can feel how fragile the walls are, no matter how much I paint them. Bright swirls coating a paper cocoon, I know the ink will curl in the fire just the same. Stay watching until they catch alight, please. Your gaze is a comfort I could not live without.
Darktide, bright edge of cosmic sway ☀️🌙 The gentle movement of uncaring giants shape us, our societies, our homes. Steal the sun from the sky, and watch our crops wither and our livestock freeze. No one among us can replace that light, no hearth can burn long enough to outshine and protect us. No one can plead with the moon, drunk on the light of the sun, for her to stumble away across the horizon. The sun cannot hear our cries, she cannot notice the absence of birdsong in the still, frigid air. All we can do is look up and pray that she might return to us, arms open in a warm embrace.
