In my city, we have a couple of places where you can get NYC-style pizza 🍕… but I would absolutely LOVE to try a REAL NYC pie!

I like Carnegie Pizza also. Joe’s gets a lot of hype and long lines but imo Carnegie is better. Off subject I was told once by an uber driver never buy a slice anywhere for $1 because dollar slices aren’t made with real cheese.

It looks delicious but I have salt fatigue just looking at it. Hope you drank several liters of water to keep your kidneys from slowly shutting down and ending up on dialysis because hypertension kills and salt is basically food crack and those serving it to you are prioritizing profit over renal 😋

Holy shit, they let you get a topping on it? They didn't expect you to just get a slice of weirdly orange, cheese-only pizza? I mean, it's still weirdly orange. I hope you folded it, like they insist on. If you don't ritually fold the pizza, the native population gets VERY agitated.
If you have time I have always liked the chain Little Italy Pizza. If you are on a budget there are also $1.50 slice places.

Smart and correct call. Any time I go to a pizzeria I haven't been to I order just a cheese slice. If they can't get a plain slice right, there's no point trying any of the other ones.
