Hamas, Islamic Jihad and affiliates created the greatest catastrophe against Jewish people since 1945, the response by the IDF created the greatest catastrophe for Palestinians since 1948. It is a perverse dance of death over the failure of compromise and political leadership in a case where two people have equal claims to the same land, but for different reasons. We can all see clearly how a compromise would look like, and we can all see how inability to compromise looks like. I choose compromise at any time, and the rehabilitation of minds full of hate and blindness, to living in humility and acceptance, as well assurance that we can all share a good life in prosperity, whilst we may not be able to have all we want in the interest of that good life and peace. Religiously, Muslims and Jews are of one father. What would Abraham / Ibrahim have said, had he seen the devastation his ancestors cause to each other, and what does the Almighty make of our feuds...?
