Creator asking for advice: l've been watching you since the Super Money Ball retrospectives and it's one of my favorite series. I genuinely like this channel so much and your positive outlook and inviting content. You've actually inspired me to make my own YouTube channel but I just wanted to ask for advice in how to get started? Like want to do mostly games and cartoons and nostalgia stuff but I have no idea how to navigate the tricky world of potential copyright strikes. I know enough like not showing music for some games like Crazy Taxi or tony hawk or that Disney and Viacom do copyright strike often. But there is also the issue of, you've said in other videos, not getting locked to one type of content (reviews, game, cooking, etc) because you feel trapped and then your audience might only expect that. How do you managed this and decide? And how do you learn what is safe to post and what isn't? To avoid potential issues? Either way, great video and I'll continue to watch

One quick note: the reason why Mother/ Earthbound items are always present in every Hobonichi release is that the creator of the Mother video game series, Shigesato Itoi, is also the creator of Hobonochi. It's not a collab per se. It's his baby. I love it because Earthbound for the SNES is my favorite video game of all time so it makes me happy to see my worlds collide. This year, I wasn't a big fan of the Mother line-up so l splurged and went with the 2025 leather Mother 2 cover with Ness riding a bike on the front and a full color map of the game's town inside.
