The visuals of this film are an abstract representation of Phil’s description of his eyesight. We see lots of lens distortions and vignetting throughout the footage. We see Phil running with his hi-vis vest that reads ‘Blind Runner’, highlighted in orange. The camera work and editing are phrenetic and connected to Phil’s motion. The film is mostly black and white with a grainy photocopy texture applied, accent colours are applied with highlighter marker pens. When Phil speaks about “singing with this lot” we see chaotic clips of him singing on stage with his band. The film ends with a QR code to view the full version of the film on the donation page.
