Some halftone dot type things make up the background because I couldn't figure out how to get clip studio to let me use the carrot shapes without it constantly messing up and ruining the gradient effect on flattening the image for some reason, anyone know what is up with that? An explanation or help would be greatly appreciated. It only works with dots, everything else even diamonds and squares messes up I have no idea what is going on there. But anyway! Enjoy!

A wacom Graphire3, it was so small. It was almost like trying to draw on a credit card. Oh you kids these days have NO IDEA how good you have it. I remember asking in a PC store about them and the guy was convinced the tech didn't exist. It was so hard to buy one in the UK in the early 00's.

All of us who do creative work, we get into it because we have good taste. But there is this gap. For the first couple years you make stuff, it’s just not that good. It’s trying to be good, it has potential, but it’s not. But your taste, the thing that got you into the game, is still killer. And your taste is why your work disappoints you. A lot of people never get past this phase, they quit. Most people I know who do interesting, creative work went through years of this. We know our work doesn’t have this special thing that we want it to have. We all go through this. And if you are just starting out or you are still in this phase, you gotta know its normal and the most important thing you can do is do a lot of work. Put yourself on a deadline so that every week you will finish one story. It is only by going through a volume of work that you will close that gap, and your work will be as good as your ambitions. And I took longer to figure out how to do this than anyone I’ve ever met. It’s gonna take awhile. It’s normal to take awhile. You’ve just gotta fight your way through.”

NECA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Usagi Yojimbo Figures The four turtle bros looking pretty mad all things considered. The figures look great, like a real 3d interpretation of Stan Sakai's style. The mouth on Raph looks especially good but man they coulda give Leo a more stoic optional head (not pictured: leo's optional head is still teeth grittedly angry) They still look awesome though. Shame they probably won't be available here for a reasonable price and importing is off the table thanks to the USA being the USA.
