Children will always be at an imbalance due to being children. Even in a world that 100% acknowledges that children are their own people who are entitled to bodily autonomy, children rely nearly 100% on adults for their safety net. Food, water, housing, emotional development, life lessons, etc tend to come from adults who have a vested interest in caring for children. The dynamic between adults and children can thus never really escape this power structure even in a world where children are given actual rights as people.
