The myth of 4K Quality Shaders™: Exhibit A One of these cubes has a 4K shader, that's 4096x4096 True Color, which weighs in at 134.7MB (134,700KB) The other has a 256x256 32-Color version of the same shader, which weighs in at only 55KB Can you tell which is which?

Do you like the 4K version more? Do you like it 99.96% more? Because that's how much more file space 134.7MB takes up compared to 55KB. Now do this equation for every single material in your game.
