Correct. Kirk was a hateful man saying hateful things. Currently being rallied around by equally hateful people blaming political rivals for everything bad that’s ever happened, ignoring their own rejoicing or indifference about attacks on Dems. No half-staff for Melissa Hortman? None for Kirk.
